What's New for 2020

Building from its 2019 success, most changes made pursue a simple goal of refining what strengths Lincoln's Navigator already possesses.

More safety features now come standard with its Co-Pilot360, a suite of driver-assistance technologies. Among the newcomers include automatic high-beams, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, forward-collision warning, automated emergency braking and rearview camera with a built-in washer.

Every trim level now comes standard with adaptive dampeners, power-operated running boards, and heated and ventilated front seats. Simplifying its trim lineup to bring these new improvements, Lincoln removed Select trim variants. The Navigator Reserve trim also receives a new Monochromatic package for one-of-a-kind styling.

What the Critics Say

"The Cadillac Escalade may have introduced the world to the American large-luxury SUV, but these days it's the Lincoln Navigator that's carrying the torch. Thanks to its combination of style, presence, capability and utility, the Navigator brings more to the table than any current competitor." - Edmunds

"The thing about the new Navigator is arguably its interior. The optional Perfect Position front seats are borrowed from the Lincoln Continental sedan and are so seriously comfortable that they might just put all other luxury seats to shame. Both front seats have 30-way adjustability and offer heating, cooling, and massage." - CNET

Control and Performance

You need space when you want to travel - with either a lot of passengers or cargo to bring with you. But once you fit all your passengers and gear into your SUV, it's the power, performance, and capabilities that will carry you through to your destination. Thankfully, Lincoln's Navigator offers a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine with 450 horsepower and 10-speed Selectshift® automatic transmission so you'll never need to worry about a steep hill or bad weather. Add a maximum towing capacity of 8,700 pounds, and there's no journey the Navigator can't complete.

With six different drive modes to choose from, the Navigator prevents any interruptions of your cabin experience.

Those modes include:

  • Slippery
  • Excite
  • Conserve
  • Deep conditions
  • Normal
  • Slow climb
2020 Lincoln Navigator Interior

Luxury interior

Surprisingly, the cabin seems larger and more lavish on the inside than it appears on the outside, with generous space to seat 7 passengers comfortably and remarkable technology to keep everyone connected and entertained. Comfort is Lincoln's calling card when you sit in one of the Navigator's 7 seats. Second-row seats have about 3.5 feet of maximum legroom as well as power recline options. Third-row seats can offer a maximum of 3-3.5 feet of legroom, depending on the second-row seats' position. No matter what trim you choose, your front seats come with heated and ventilated features, as well as an available with Active Motion® massage feature. Finally, it's cargo space can carry a maximum of 120.2 cubic feet of gear, giving you great versatility when you need to carry more gear than people.

2020 Lincoln Navigator Technology

State-of-the-art Technology

No, your eyes aren't playing a trick on you. The Navigator employs a head-up display using laser technology to show important information on your windshield. Put your mind at ease, start your engine with a simple button push, place your smartphone in the center console for wireless charging, and watch your 10-inch LCD touchscreen come to life. Second-row passengers can also enjoy a movie, show, or video game with two available 10-inch screens mounted behind the front seat headrests. But every occupant will enjoy an available Revel® Ultima® Audio System that uses 14 well-placed speakers for uncompromised quality surround sound. Finally, nothing feels better than the Navigator welcoming your return to your vehicle with power illuminated running boards projecting Lincoln's logo to the pavement.
